We had great time sharing dances with the Swedish Folk Dance Club of Denver at the Northridge Recreation Center. Both groups practiced dances for their upcoming performances at the Scandinavian Midsummer Festival to be held in Estes Park on Saturday, June 22, 2013. Then both groups taught the other some new dances. We were excited to learn Skobodans, a dance depicting the meeting of two old men on a bridge. There is only enough room for one man to cross. There is a bit of a skirmish and some jostling to resolve who gets to cross.
