The Lindsborg Swedish Folk Dancers and the legendary Viking-on-a-Stick will make their first ever appearance at the Smoky Hill River Festival, June 6-9 in Salina. Fiddle Director and River Festival Coordinator Karna Peterson said, “We are excited to have the opportunity to be among the River Festival’s concessionaires. It’s such an amazing event. We look forward to introducing the Viking-on-a-Stick (a deep-fried Swedish meatball and Swedish rye bread concoction) to a wider festival audience. We’re also debuting another authentic Swedish favorite, the Smorgas Torta as well as Swedish Limeades.” What exactly is makes a Limeade Swedish? Come find out at the Festival June 6-9!
